How to read the result
- Active website: the licence holder lists the address in the register as one it operates now.
- White label: the address is run under the licence holder's licence for another brand.
- Inactive website: the address was listed before and is no longer in use under that licence.
- Not found: the address is not in the register we read. That alone does not prove a site is unlicensed, and a British licence says nothing about other countries: check the regulator of the country you play in, listed on our regulation tracker.

Questions
How can I tell whether a gambling website is licensed in Great Britain?
Look the website up in the Gambling Commission's public register, which this checker reads every day, and check that the licence behind it is active. Licensed sites must also show their licence details, usually at the bottom of the page.
What does a white-label website mean?
A brand that runs on another company's licence and platform. The register lists such addresses under the licence holder that is responsible for them.
